Established in 1992, the Thomas Read Group currently operates 11 bars and restaurants in Dublin City Centre Area and operates, under licence, 6 bars in Dublin Airport.

Since its beginnings the company, through founders Hugh O'Regan and Martin Conroy, has strived to create one of the most cutting-edge and best known bar groups in Dublin and Ireland.

Some of its well known premises include: the Harbourmaster (IFSC); Thomas Read’s, Searsons (Baggot Street); Floredita Cuban bar and restaurant, Ron Blacks, The Winding Stair Restaurant to name but a few.

Redquartz has negotiated the purchase of the business and will be joined, as shareholders, by some of our partners who have interests in the licence trade.

Redquartz is also a shareholder in DAX Restaurant. Dax offers top-class continental and rustic food with an extensive quality wine list. The menus are based on fresh, seasonal produce.

  Real* Gourmet Burger is an Irish company run by a close team who are madly passionate about creating, cooking and serving the best gourmet burgers on the planet.  Real is committed to  Irish organic and naturally reared ingredients, committed to providing first class service and committed to keeping the prices as low as possible.  Founded in 2006 by David Larkin in partnership with Redquartz, Real has one restaurant open in Dun Laoghaire and a further five planned to open in 2008.
